Smart legends
Legends in Revit come with their own set of constraints. To address these challenges, the Smart Legends tools suite has been developed for A-Lab. Currently, in its BETA version, the suite comprises two distinct tools:
Sort:
Functionality: Allows users to organize the legend components, currently supporting walls, ceilings, and floors, within a legend view.
Selection Criteria: Sorting is based on a user-selected parameter, ensuring tailored categorization as per project or user requirements.
Tag:
Functionality: Provides the means to tag components present within the view.
Layer Tagging: The individual layers of a component, such as walls or floors, can be tagged using the Material Keynote parameter.
Type Property Tagging: Users have the option to tag the type property of a component. The specific property to be tagged is selectable through the tool's user interface.
Smart Legends aims to enhance the efficiency and customization of legend creation and management in Revit.
