IdeaHub is a Revit plugin designed to foster collaboration and engagement among its users. It serves as a platform for users to submit and share ideas, specifically catering to six defined categories:

  1. Sustainability: Ideas focusing on environmental preservation, resource optimization, and eco-friendly practices.

  2. Innovation: Novel concepts and solutions that redefine the way we approach design and construction challenges.

  3. BIM (Building Information Modelling): Suggestions related to improving BIM processes, data management, or visualization techniques.

  4. Efficiency: Proposals aimed at streamlining workflows, reducing time consumption, or enhancing the quality of project deliverables.

  5. Design: Concepts that revolve around aesthetics, spatial configurations, and innovative design practices.

  6. BLC (Building Life Cycle): Ideas that emphasize on various stages of a building's lifecycle, from conception to demolition, ensuring holistic development.

One of the key features of IdeaHub is its voting mechanism. After submission, other users have the opportunity to vote on ideas. Those with higher votes get prioritized, emphasizing their significance and prompting quicker development and consideration. This democratic approach ensures that the most resonating and impactful ideas come to the forefront, enabling users to collectively shape the future of design and construction.
