Introduction

The Manage Issues plugin allows users to submit and track issues related to three main categories: Revit Support, BIM Delivery, and ALAB Tools. By streamlining the issue reporting process, this plugin aims to improve communication and collaboration within the team, leading to more efficient and effective project outcomes.

Project Number

In the Manage Issues plugin, the "Project Number" refers to the folder project number, which is used to categorize and organize issues based on their corresponding projects. This allows for efficient management and tracking of issues within each project.

Building System

The "Building System" parameter in the Manage Issues plugin corresponds to the Bygningsdelstabell (NS 3451:2), a Norwegian standard for classifying building elements. This classification system helps users categorize issues according to the relevant building element, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each issue and promoting faster resolution.

Importance Levels

The Manage Issues plugin features three levels of importance for reported issues, allowing users to prioritize and manage issues more effectively:

  1. Critical: Issues that are crucial to address immediately, as they prevent users from continuing their work. These issues require urgent attention and resolution.

  2. Important: Issues that, while not preventing users from continuing their work, are still significant and should be addressed promptly. Implementing solutions for these issues will greatly improve the project's efficiency and effectiveness.

  3. Nice to Have: Issues that, while not critical or important, would enhance the user experience or project outcome if implemented. These features are considered a lower priority but can still contribute to the overall success of the project.

By categorizing issues according to their importance levels, users can better prioritize and manage their issue resolution process, ensuring a more efficient and successful project workflow.

Features

  • Functionality: Users can submit and track issues related to Revit Support, BIM Delivery, and ALAB Tools.

  • Parameters: The plugin allows users to detail issues using various parameters, such as Title, Description, Project Number, Lab, Category, Importance, and Building System.

  • Image Attachment: Users can attach an image to better describe and illustrate the issue at hand.

  • Database Storage: All reported issues are stored in a centralized database for easy access and management.

  • Monitoring: The plugin generates various outputs to monitor the overall status of reported issues.
