The only reliable way to quality assure that the project is positioned correctly and built inside the property limits is to control it in Autocad using the original map underlay.Principles for project placement are:
The model placement follows the Z-values (heights) according to the actual site's terrain. Unless otherwise agreed with the client, the project height system is NN2000.
The rotation of the model must follow the project's actual location in relation to geographical true North.
The project zero point must be specified in reference to the global coordinates, unless otherwise agreed with the client the coordinate system is EUREF89.
The position of the model must be such that all objects have positive coordinates in the x- and y-axis.
There is no project geometry outside of the property limits.
In Revit, change the coordinate system to global coordinates:Export a dwg of the project lokasjon, make sure the export has shared coordinates and the same units has the official kart dwg:Open Autocad the offical kart dwg in global coordinates and link your dwg placing its origin at the 0,0,0, Check if it goes into the correct place. If so congrats your project is in the correct position :)This also applies to check if the property lines are correct or that the exterior of the facades is inside the site limits.
