A-lab Tools

Install from the Sofware Center.

If you have installed previous versions of the tools, first uninstall from control panel/software center, then install the latest version.

AutoCAD

There is a specific chapter about Autodesk licensing and installation. You'll find the link below.

BIM360 / ACC

To access BIM360/ACC, you'll need a license and project access.

First, contact X-lab to obtain a BIM360 / ACC license. Once your license is assigned, you'll need an invitation to the specific project:

  • for A-lab hosted projects, contact X-lab for an invitation.

  • for client-hosted projects, contact your project leader or the client's responsible to request an invitation.

After you have both a license and project access, install the latest Desktop Connector to access your cloud files from your desktop:

To check if the cloud services are up and running:

Kinship

Floating license. Exit the program to release the license.

Navisworks

Revit

SimpleBIM

Install from Software Center.

Floating license. Exit program to release the license.

Solibri

Install the program from below, if neccessary, create an account fist. After that, contact the X-lab to acquire a license.

When you start the program, make sure that you select the correct product.

Solibri Anywhere is for reviewing IFC files.

Solibri Office is for clash detection and other BIM coordination tasks.
