Swing

This tool has 2 purposes:

• Set Swing direction (Right/Left) for Doors and Windows based on their original direction.

• Assign the door number using the RoomTo.

If you check Enable Auto Update the tool will run automatically before using Publish Sheets and Publish Views.

There is a shared parameter in every door/window family that represents the original direction of the geometry. Type of parameter: text_type, Parameter name: ALAB_BIM_OriginalSwing, Parameter value: Left or Right

There is a shared parameter in the model that represents the Left/Right swing direction. This parameter is assigned to the categories of doors and windows. Type of parameter: text_instance, Parameter name: ALAB_BIM_DoorSwing, Parameter value: individual

The correct opening swing direction is assigned for every door/window type in the A-lab tool. There is a project parameter in the model that represents the room number that the door belongs to. Type of parameter: text_instance, Parameter name: ALAB_BIM_Romtilhørighet. By default this parameter shows 'To room' information, but this can be reversed by assigning 'yes' in the parameter ALAB_BIM_ReverseRoom. Type of parameter: text_instance, Parameter name: ALAB_BIM_ReverseRoom, Parameter value: Yes or No / empty.

If you want to prevent the renumbering of the door (in case you already handed out an official document) you can lock the value in ALAB_BIM_Romtilhørighet by assigning 'yes' in the parameter ALAB_BIM_LockedMark. Type of parameter: text_instance, Parameter name: ALAB_BIM_LockedMark, Parameter value: Yes or No / empty.
