Set up Euref coordinates in Revit
In the view called prosjektslokasjon, which corresponds to the height 0 (usually the sea level or havnivå), link in the KART global coordinates autocad file. Follow the settings in the screen shot:

Move the dwg to match the zero point from autocad with the revit internal origin point (in the template it is placed in the same position as the survey and the project based point).
The Project Base Point must be located in the same place as "Project Internal" and must not be rotated. Use SCOPE BOXES to rotate views instead.

On the project location, make curent the Euref site. For future reference, rename the Euref coordinates to the corresponding system (either UTM or NTM).

In the Prosjektlokasjon view, select the dwg link and in the properties select shared site:

Choose acquire the coordinates from the dwg and then reconcile:

Select the project based point and control that it shows the global coordinates as indicated in the dwg:

2. Establish the project zero point
In the project location, make current the prosjektsnullpunkt site.

Pro tip! Temporarily isolate the project base point to make sure you dont use other elements by accident.
Select specify coordinates, then click on the project based point. Replace all the values with 0.

Link the kart underlay prosjektsnullpunkt using the settings under.

The link is successful only if you get the following message. It means you are using autocad zero point for the linking.

Repeat the ‘not shared site’ process and unload the kart underlay in Euref global coordinates to avoid graphic problems in Revit.
