Create Schedules by Type

The Create Schedules by Type tool allows you to quickly generate a separate schedule for each selected door or window type in your Revit project. Instead of duplicating and filtering schedules manually, you can:

• Select a schedule template that already contains your desired fields

• Choose one or more family types (e.g. specific doors or windows)

• Automatically generate filtered copies of the schedule, each one tied to a different type

This saves time and ensures consistency across your documentation.

When combined with the Generate Sheets tool, these schedules can also be automatically placed on sheets—ideal for detailed drawing sets or compliance documentation.
